The United Church of Latter-Day Jeff is a church that sprung up sometime before the world started to go down the crapper. They believed that via some bizarre cosmic happenstance, people named Jeff were chosen to go onto greatness. Jeff Goldblum, Jeff Bridges and perhaps most important of all, Jeff Foxworthy, all served as Paragons for the Church of Jeff. When the world finally collapsed, the Church of Jeff was strangely left untouched by the various maladies that befell the world. Feeling validated, the generations of Jeff’s that arose from the Church’s practitioners would eventually leave in an attempt to proselytize the inhabitants of the nearby regions. This left the Church of Jeff with a barebones crew of Ascetic Jeffs who pass their time by farming and repeating lines from The Big Lebowski.
